Hallo zusammen,

vielleicht hat sich ja schon jemand damit auseinander gesetzt und kann helfen.

Ich habe einen VPS mit MUNIN Master -> Hostname monitoring.meinnetzwerk.de (Funktioniert auch, erstellt die Grafiken usw,)

Dann habe ich den Slave Server -> Hostname host02.meinnetzwerk.de

Jetzt muss ich ja auf dem Slave Server in der muninconfig einen Host eintragen?

Ich bin der Meinung das dort monitoring.meinnetzwerk.de reinmuss. Aber egal was ich dort eintrage, auch host02,meinnetzwerk.de dann kommt immer bei der Telnetverbindung Connection Closed by foreign Host.

Jemand Rat oder mag gegen ein paar SB Punkte mir das per TV einstellen?

Lass bei host_name einfach den Standard Eintrag drin.
Ich glaub, das war nur der Port, sonst guck einfach, was auf dem Master Server dort steht.

Es muss nur bei allow die IP vom Master eingetragen werden, sonst nichts.

Das hatte ich ausprobiert, wenn ich dann aber ne telnet verbindung vom Master zum Slave aufbauen will kommt immer die o.g. Fehlermeldung.

Die Fehlermeldung ist normal und kommt bei mir auch.

Habs ausgebügelt, hab die IPs alle auch mal im Master erlaubt und siehe da es geht.. ;D

Übrigens, der Standard Host funktioniert nur wenn man Locale Abfragen macht.

Das liegt aber dann daran, dass in der Munin-Node config als allow 127.0.0.1 drin steht und nicht die externe IP/Name, wie bei den slave Servern.
